Two types of wastes (oxyvite sludge and dust from electric-arc furnace) were tested and bacterial leaching with Thiobaci/lus ferrooxidans was applied. The better results were achieved at leaching of oxyvitc sludge, where these yields of Zn - 73%, Al - 70%, Pb - 30%, Cd - 90% were attained.
